#virtualpetindex – the UK’s first virtual pet trade show.
What a fantastic couple of days it has been at the Pet Industry Federation – PIF virtual Petindex. Savvy Pet Spa had our very own stand where we offered help, advice and live demos for anyone looking to learn more about Savvy Pet Spa. We held a live 30-minute webinar on using software to help your business to become resilient in the current climate. What a fab way to introduce Savvy Pet Spa Software for Groomers at #virtualpetindex.
Hundreds of visitors logged on to the UK’s first virtual pet trade show – #VirtualPetindex. Spending a nice couple of hours browsing more than 60 stands from the UK and overseas. The show was running over two days, Sunday and Monday. Visitors could come and go as they pleased, with the luxury of two days to visit which makes it much more accessible than a traditional trade show. What’s more, all of the content is available online for 30 days after the show closes, so there’s a possibility to chat to even more visitors than at a traditional event.
So what did you miss at #virtualpetindex?
As a software company, we love a bit of clever tech. Being able to stroll around and browse the trade stands from the comfort of your sofa was brilliant. We felt like we were in a computer game! You could access loads of really useful resources on each stand. We had links to all our training videos, webinars and how-to guides. You could just click to chat to a team member any time. Definitely a window to the future! (And a lot easier than driving for miles and paying for hotels too). This format opens up the opportunity to visit shows all over the world. A great way to see shows and competitions that you might never have had the chance to visit before.
